Recommended Reading for Success in Fitness, Business and Life

Here’s a working list of all the books that I’ve had the pleasure of reading that have had a tremendously positive effect on my life. As I finish new good books, I will add them to the list. 🙂

I hope that you use my Amazon US or Amazon Canada link to shop on Amazon. When you do that, I receive commissions which I convert back to Amazon gift cards to give away to readers such as yourself and it costs you NOTHING extra 🙂

I’m a lover of books on personal development, fitness, running, finance, investing and success in general. These books will change your life for the better 🙂

All In by Arlene Dickinson. I really enjoyed the book. Arlene is an inspiration and although this book is about business success, many of the points that she discusses can also be applied to success in other areas of life, such as fitness and relationships.

Born to Run by Christopher McDougall This book has made me fall in love with running even more than I already was.

Gunn’s Golden Rules: Life’s Little Lessons for Making it Work Although this was written by a fashion professional, Tim Gunn offers a lot of valid points that apply to life in general. This is probably one of my favorite self-help books that I’ve had the pleasure of reading.

The Sports Gene: Inside the Science of Extraordinary Athletic Performance This book offers some great insights on why some of the world’s most amazing athletes perform the way they do. It really went into depth to desribe what it takes to be the best and answers the questions of “nature vs. nurture.”

Usain Bolt: My Autobiography (faster than lightning) There is a reason why Usain Bolt is one of the most known and best athletes in the world and this book reveals it in an inspiring way.

Unlimited: A Three-Step Plan for Achieving Your Dreams by Jillian MichaelsI know that Jillian Michaels is not everyone’s cup of tea, but the points that she has in her book are actionable and they genuinely make sense. Personally, I enjoyed it as I thought it was well laid out.
